AND THE WINNER IS. . . BUFFALOed!

As I told you guys, Western Fiction may be shattered but it's not wiped out. Yes! A western has taken the Indie Prize. No fantasy, sc fi, romance, mystery, adventure, crime, or horror. Western writers--keep 'em movin'.

AND THE WINNER IS. . .BUFFALOED!

BUFFALOed was a finalist for the Hoffer da Vinci Eye Award for Superior Cover Design. I wish I could say I designed it, but it was the really great people at BookSurge who deserve the credit. Congratulations you guys.

AND THE WINNER IS...BUFFALOED!

Arizona Authors awarded BUFFALOed first place for an unpublished manuscript. --Before we even got started!

Western Writers of America had their book for sale at the 20th Annual Festival of the West in Scottsdale. We try to look the part. Some of us come in carrying, but some, like Miles Swarthout, just relax. Great fun and great chuck-wagon food at this event.

Scottsdale Society of Women Writers
We had this great book signing at Pages Book Store in Cave Creek, Arizona, in February. Sales were hot and everyone practiced a pitch.

Here with the Arizona Dude and the gang at Spirit of the West
Spirit of the West meets at the Bison Museum in Scottsdale every other Wednesday evening. We have great speakers and great fun. Our objective is to keep the history of the West alive.
